Labor Day Excursion

I'm late getting this up with the procedure and all. At any rate, I took the family on a day trip over to the gulf on Monday. We drove through Gainesville where I pointed out the stadium where one day, the boys will each experience victory and then headed over to Silver Springs and finally to the small fishing town of Cedar Key on the Gulf of Mexico. Silver Springs was really neat since I spent some of my favorite vacation time as a kid there. It's changed since I was there however, really cool seeing the boys enjoy it. I think they liked it more than Disney World.

I guess the lowpoint of the trip was getting a 60/45 speeding ticket in the small town of Waldo, FL. The cop actually was hiding behind a small bldg, "Roscoe Peco Train" style. Pretty insane if you ask me but, I guess he was doing his job. I mean nevermind all the other crime going on in the metropolis of Waldo, he has to get us fathers taking our family on Labor Day trips.
